I have found that when I am speaking about a big project that is meaningful to me, doing the things you mention here is easier. Even if it is just including a big project you care about as an example.

People can tell when you really care about your subject.

I know, Scott. Somehow our passion shines through when we do something we love

I have recently seen a definition of love as giving your whole self to something.

I wish I was better at speech skills, it's so important!

On "deliberate speaking improves impact" - YES. It's not about how many words you say or big words you insert, but the impact your sentence has. I have found that sometimes less is more to your audience.

Imdeed, Colette, it is very powerful when you can control the way you speak

Yes this was amazing! For the past month, I have been truly focusing on the way that I speak and the way others perceive me with my business. And the other day I was working on slowing down my speech so that I am intentional with my words and being mindful of the inflection in my voice so that my intention is received and digested well. And I have also been working on my eye contact with the audience. I recently did a podcast and it was filmed on camera and I really paid attention to the way that I spoke. This particular article really provided me with other ways to improve my public speaking. Lately I have also been doing a lot of meditation and grounding, which has been affected my speech so I love the fact that you mentioned that.
