This truly speaks to where I am in my journey. I’ve come to realize that awareness is everything, but it’s also something I struggle to practice consistently. There are days I catch myself, pause, and choose a better thought… and there are days I fall right back into old patterns. But I’m learning to offer myself grace in those moments. Learning that awareness, like healing, is a practice, not a performance. From awareness comes self-love, and from self-love, respect.

Thank you, Manuel, for putting into words what so many of us are working through in silence.🙏

Everything returns to awareness and being present Manuel!

Not sure if you've read the book Into the Heart of the Buddha's Teachings, but it was super eye-opening for me in helping me understand that we all have seeds we choose to water. Some of them are negative, and others are positive. When we have a negative thought, we need to be aware we are having it so we can choose a different path and stop watering the negative thought.

Nice article, I enjoyed reading this one!

I've had this experience with an email. Choosing not the react through self-awareness is a super power.

This is something I'm working on. The reminder that “every rep counts” was especially helpful.

Thanks, Manuel!

Everyone needs to read this. As someone short tempered with terrible anger issues that am working on I can relate to this post. Am becoming proud of myself lately on how I handle situations and let them not to have control over me. Yes sometimes I do slip but I take a moment to reflect before I act or say something dumb. I take a few deep breaths and after a few minutes I feel better and just let it go.Self awareness is a powerful thing that people need to learn for their sake.

Excellence is achieved through encouragement to think and be still. We may act impulsively at times and not always achieve the outcomes we planned. However, with grace to learn and patience to understand, we may grow.

Thank you.. Tremendous advice; to think just a little more before reacting.
